Sorry, y'all I was down for most of the week last week & wasn't able to stamp or post. Today I'm sharing cards using a new set & the in-colors.
What do y'all think of the new in-colors? I definitely have my favorites of Tahitian Tide & Parakeet Party they remind me of some of my favorite old bright colors we used to have, but the others are nice as well. As you can see, I chose to make some monochromatic cards using all 5 in-colors just to showcase them along with using the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers & leaves outline on Basic White Cardstock using Memento Black Ink, then used the solid color of each ink. I wrapped the stamped image using the Black & White Gingham Ribbon, then attached this layer to a Basic Black Cardstock layer before attaching to the same color cardstock base. This set doesn't have any sentiments so I chose to use the Flowing Flowers & Peaceful Moments Stamp Sets which were stamped on Basic White Cardstock scraps then cut out using the Potted Succulents Dies & popping them up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I changed up the Parakeet Party card as I thought the green should represent the leaves of the set instead of the flowers.
Remember today is the last day to order from the current annual catalog & anything that is still available that will be retiring, the new catalog starts tomorrow May 3rd.
