I'm running a little late on today's post because I wasn't near my computer at all yesterday. My morning consisted of opening an upper cabinet & having the top part of the cabinet come out of the wall which threw off the rest of the day. SO NOT FUN! At least my air fryer helped me out so I didn't have to hold it up until my husband finally made it home from work. That sucker was heavy & then was hard to get the bottom screws out to have it just on my counter. I'm so glad that I'm not in as much pain as I thought I might.
Today's card uses the Crane Of Fortune Stamp Set & the Direct to Stamp technique. I chose to start my card with a Basic White Cardstock base followed by a layer of the Symbols Of Fortune Specialty DSP. For the stamped image, I took the flower stamp & with the Calypso Coral & Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers (NOT the blends) I colored the stamp with the brush end. Before pressing it down onto the cardstock I gave the stamp a few good huffs to refresh the ink (markers tend to dry a bit faster when they are applied to the stamp directly) and then stamped it onto Basic White Cardstock, which was then layered on top of Old Olive Cardstock. I chose one of the sentiments from the same set, and stamped it using Old Olive Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, then used the Banners Pick A Punch Punch to each side of the sentiment this was then popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
