Today I'm sharing a card using the clear block watercoloring technique, not exactly sure of the name but that's what I'm going to call it. Now you can do this technique with the Stampin' Markers (not the blends) or with the ink pads. I chose to do it with the latter!
For the background image, I chose the Clear Block D then added Balmy Blue & Old Olive Ink directly to the block then spritzed the block with water in our Stampin' Spritzer (be careful you need to make sure to spritz enough evenly across the block but not so much it's dripping) then press it down on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, make sure you let it dry a bit before stamping. I know I have done this technique on Basic White Cardstock a long time ago & I believe it turned out well with that paper if you don't have watercolor paper. From there, I used the On The Horizon Stamp Set to stamp the birds, trees, grass & sentiment using Mossy Meadow Ink. Once everything was done I added this layer on top of an Old Olive Cardstock base.
