I'm sharing card #2 from the Creativity Now virtual day today. It was an easy card to make & I like the way the coloring was done (also let me find out that I need to order new Pool Party Blends EEK)
We started the card by coloring the Basic White Cardstock layer with Pool Party & Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. We went both ways with the lightest first to the middle, than went 1/2 way with the darker colors over the light which met in the middle. We then used the bee from the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set using the Fresh Freesia & Pool Party Ink Pads, stamping off once on the lighter shades of each. Once this was done we adhered it to the Splendid Days DSP (non-foil side) at a slight tilt, then adhered to the Soft Sea Foam Cardstock base. Next, we took Soft Sea Foam Cardstock & die cut it using the Splendid Stem Dies twice. For the sentiment, we used the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad on Basic White Cardstock then fussy cut the banners at each end with Paper Snips. To assemble we added the Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon abt 6" folded over & adhered it to the back of the sentiment with Glue Dots, along with the die cut stems. which was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
