Today I'm sharing a card for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop which was a color combo. It took me a bit to figure something out, but here is what I came up with.
What do you do when you don't have the Split Card Texture Dies? You improvise with one of the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks of course. I started this card using Basic White Cardstock placing the mask at a diagonal before using the Blending Brushes with Bermuda Bay Ink, blending until I liked the outcome then stamped the leaves/stem from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set with Granny Apple Green. Next, on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock, I stamped the flowers & sentiments from the above set using Crushed Curry & Melon Mambo Ink then die cut them all at 1 time using the Sending Dies. To assemble, I started with the stamped layer that was adhered to a Granny Apple Green Cardstock layer then to a Bermuda Bay Cardstock base. then used Multipurpose Glue to add the sentiments & then popped up the flowers using .Stampin' Dimensionals
