Oh my gosh, I've been trying to get the card that was in my head out on paper for 2 days & I just couldn't translate it to paper. So last night I went looking for another idea & found a technique I wanted to try but forgot about, it's called the Twisted Ribbon Technique & I had to go looking for directions & found Diane Hutchinson's video that gave me pretty good instructions. It's a really beautiful way to showcase some of your favorite DSP.
I started the card off using Basic White Cardstock. For the layers inside & out I used Pacific Point Cardstock, embossing the outside layer with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. For the technique piece, I started with a piece of Basic White Cardstock and then chose the Sun Prints DSP to act as the ribbon *TIP: Use the Silicone Craft Sheet to keep your work space from getting sticky**. I used the Good Feelings Stamp Set for the sentiment using Pacific Point Ink, die cut it using the Seasonal Labels Dies & then colored a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Night Of Navy Stampin' Blends before adhering half of it to the embossed piece.
