Cottage Rose- Color Challenge

Hello stampers,
Today I'm sharing a card that I made for Creativate's pre-retreat challenge which was to make a card using black, white &/or gray. I have always loved swaps with these colors because they bring a type of elegance to every type of card.
For this card, I wanted black to be used as the ink after working to figure out what I was going to do with this card. I stamped the big rose stamp from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, then layered it with Smoky Slate Cardstock. The next layer also used Basic White Cardstock but I chose the 3 flower stamp & stamped it with the Memento Black Ink in all different directions until it was covered & this was then layered on top of a Smoky Slate Cardstock base. The solo flower image was then attached to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. I then used a small piece of Smoky Slate Cardstock for the sentiment which came from the same set & stamped it on this piece with Memento Black Ink then fussy cut the banner edge. To finish off the card I added some Classic Matte Dots.
