Today I'm sharing the mystery stamping card that I made with other Stampin' Up! demos yesterday which included a long ago forgotten technique.
We started with a 2.5x3.5" piece of Basic White Cardstock which we stamped using the small 4 dots/leaves from the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set all over using the Versamark Ink Pad. Then we chose 3 chalk colors from the Soft Pastels Assortment, I chose Night Of Navy, Granny Apple Green & Coastal Cabana taking the chalk to the paper *TIP- on a scratch piece of paper rub the end of the chalk to round the edges* & rubbing it over the Versamark, then using a sponge to blend. Next, we die cut 3 dies using Basic White Cardstock & placed them on top of the popping pastels technique with Multipurpose Glue. I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out the Basic Black Cardstock circle then added a sentiment from the set with Versamark Ink & embossed it using the white from the Basics Embossing Powders & Heat Tool, I then used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it on top of the die cuts. This was then attached to a Basic Black Cardstock layer & then added to a Basic White Cardstock base.
