So I found a color combo challenge that I knew would be something outside of my comfort zone but decided to try it anyway. However, my card isn't clean & simple with lots of white space & minimal layers. OOPS! That's ok cuz I get to share it with you anyway!
I chose to use Wildflower Path Stamp Set for this card because it was one I really liked in the catalog but really haven't used it because I just couldn't figure out what to do with it. I started with a Basic White Cardstock piece using Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie & Shaded Spruce Ink Pads. This set is a two-step set so it worked well with the 2 toned flowers. For the Pumpkin Pie Cardstock layer, I embossed it using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder before attaching it to the Shaded Spruce Cardstock base. I then added the stamped piece to the embossed layer using Multipurpose Glue. For the sentiment, I used Daffodil Delight Cardstock & stamped a sentiment from the set using the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad, snipping off the ends at an angle & attaching it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish the card off.
