Happy November y'all! I have been fiddling with an idea that I got from a shirt that a friend made me before I went on a little vacation to see family but I haven't quite finished it yet, so I moved on to another idea.
I started the card off with a Crumb Cake Cardstock base, then layered it with a Crumb Cake Cardstock piece that was embossed using the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder. Next, I cut the largest ring out using Crumb Cake Cardstock with the die/embossing folder, then used a Stampin' Dauber to go around the edge with Soft Suede Ink. From this die set, I also die cut 4 branches using Basic White Cardstock & coloring them using Old Olive & Soft Suede Stampin' Blend Combo Packs. For the gnome, I was trying to go for a lumberjack look but our gnomes don't have a body so I settled for the look with the hat using the Gnome Dies with Gingham Cottage DSP. I also used Petal Pink, Smoky Slate, & Basic Black Cardstocks for the rest of the gnome parts, and attached them all together using Multipurpose Glue. I started to play with the gnome, tree ring & branches trying to figure out how I wanted them to look before gluing them all together using Multipurpose Glue then popped the tree ring up using Stampin' Dimensionals before attaching to the card base. For the sentiment, I used the retired Special Moments Stamp Set to stamp with Soft Suede Ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock then die cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
