I got a little play time in with Color & Contour and Watercolor Shapes this weekend. I remember seeing a card I think it was Frenchie Martin that did a floral card with Watercolor Shapes & thought I would do my own since I haven't used it a lot.
For card #1, I used Soft Sea Foam Cardstock for the base and stamped 2 opposite corners with the splatter stamp from the Color & Contour Stamp Set using Soft Sea Foam Ink. For the main image, I used Basic White Cardstock then stamped the rectangle from the Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set using Soft Sea Foam Ink, then stamped the lined floral image & the sentiment from the Color & Contour Stamp Set with Smoky Slate Ink. then the solid floral using Fresh Freesia Ink. This image was then adhered to a Fresh Freesia Cardstock layer before adding to the base, To finish off this card I added a little bling with the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Product List
For card #2, I again used Soft Sea Foam Cardstock for the base, but this time I dry embossed it using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. For the main image, I again stamped the rectangle from the Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set using Soft Sea Foam Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, then stamped the daisy outline from the Color & Contour Stamp Set using Smoky Slate Ink & the solid image with Daffodil Delight Ink which was then adhered to a Daffodil Delight Cardstock layer. For the sentiment, I stamped it using Smoky Slate Ink on Basic White Cardstock, then die cut it into a circle & Daffodil Delight Cardstock using a scalloped circle using Layering Circle Dies which I attached with Multipurpose Glue to the corner of the main stamped image piece. I chose Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels for the bling on this card.
