It's been a long time since I joined in on a Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop with demonstrators from around the world in the Crafty Collaborations FB Group. The set in this month's Paper Pumpkin reminds me of an old vintage style stamp set Stampin' Up! carried a long time ago that I loved to use, but the name escapes me at this time.
I started with Basic White Cardstock & because this card will be for my husband I chose more masculine colors of Basic Black & Poppy Parade than what came in the kit. Once I was done stamping I adhered it to a layer of Poppy Parade Cardstock then a Basic Black Cardstock base. For the sentiment, I die-cut a scrap of Poppy Parade Cardstock with Stitched Rectangle Dies, then stamped the sentiment with Memento Black Ink. I then used the Banners Pick A Punch to punch the ends of a Basic Black Cardstock strip, adhering it to the Poppy Parade piece then used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. Lastly, I added 2 Matte Black Dots to either side of the sentiment.
