Am I glad it's Friday, it's been a hectic & busy week as we are doing things to the house so various contractors here, listening to work being done on our street & feeling like they will never finish, cat problems & working on things for a rescue. WHEW! But it's got to get better right? *fingers crossed*
Today's card is from Creativate Winter Retreat & it involves quilting with paper, which is about the closest I'll ever get to quilting because I can't sew if my life depended on it.
I chose the Sun Prints DSP to make this quilt card which was adhered to a Basic White Cardstock square. Then you are to cut that square in half both directions which will make 4 squares where you turn in any direction and then adhere each onto the second piece of Basic White Cardstock so that there is an even border on all sides. In the above steps it is so much easier to use the Multipurpose Glue so if you don't lay them perfectly you have a little time to wiggle them in the right place. For the sentiment, I used the Through It Together Stamp Set with Starry Sky Ink to stamp on Basic White Cardstock than used Paper Snips for the banner end which was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. Next, I used the new Basics 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a layer of Gray Granite Cardstock before attaching it to a Starry Sky Cardstock base.
