Today's card is from a Creativate Spring Pre-Challenge, still getting some last-minute cards in using retiring supplies. I was thinking this could be a good masculine graduation card.
Since I wanted a masculine type card, I chose to use the retiring Let's Set Sail Stamp Set, using Night Of Navy, Soft Suede & Sahara Sand Ink Pads to stamp the boat, water & birds. I then used a Blending Brush to add some Balmy Blue Ink for the sky, this was then die-cut out using the Layering Circle Dies. I used the retiring Through It Together Stamp Set for the sentiment using Night Of Navy Ink on Basic White Cardstock, then used my Paper Snips to cut it down a bit. I chose to add a bit of texture by using the retired Subtle Embossing Folder (I will NEVER get rid of this!) I then attached the strip of Night Of Navy Cardstock to the base, I also attached the sentiment to the stamped image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then attached Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to the stamped image & sentiment before attaching them to the card base. Lastly, I added a few retiring Faux Sea Glass rocks to finish the card.
