Today's fun fold card was found on a video that hit my Pinterest page & it was by Robin Armbrecht. I went a little bit rogue because on the video I didn't see where to cut & ended up just making that part up but if I would have noticed the link in the video beforehand I would have gotten that info. EEK!
I started the card with a Crushed Curry Cardstock base, then placed a piece of Fresh As A Daisy DSP on top using Multipurpose Glue.(*TIP- make sure to not only put glue on the edges but also all over they middle as you want to make sure when you cut you don't have loose paper.) I cut through both pieces at an angle, before gluing down the bottom edge I added an inside layer of Basic White Cardstock for a sentiment & any writing that I would include then used the Multipurpose Glue on the bottom & right edge, which would create the pocket. For the sentiment, I used the Lasting Joy Stamp Set with Crushed Curry Ink Pad on Basic White Cardstock, then die-cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Be careful whatever shape you decide to use when you go to glue it down that you are only gluing it to the top part of the card & you don't have any gushes of glue coming out. I stamped one of the daisies from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set with Crushed Curry & Early Espresso Ink Pads & Basic White Cardstock then die-cut it out using Cheerful Daisies Dies & popped it up in the corner using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card.
Product List Here's a pic of what the card would look like when opened & the pocket card gives plenty of room to add a gift card or even money.
