Countryside Inn Thinking Of You Patchwork Card

Hello stampers,
I have a bit of exciting news, last month The Stamp Review Crew reached out to me & asked if I would like to be part of their crew. So on Monday, I'll be participating in my first blog hop with them & will continue to do so as long as I have the stamp set that they will be showcasing. On another note, I didn't get my card done for yesterday's post so I'm posting today instead. I really hate it when you are at the end & all you have to do is put the card together & something goes wrong & ruins your card. UGH! So as the Marines say ADAPT, OVERCOME & IMPROVISE!
I found this wonderful quilt template at Robin Armbrecht's blog that I wanted to try. I used the Countryside Inn DSP & went to work cutting & adhering my squares to a piece of Basic White Cardstock with Multipurpose Glue. Due to the above scenario, I had to figure out a way to use this piece instead of tossing it (EEK!) & I was able to use the Scalloped Contour Dies to make a scalloped rectangle of the quilt piece to save the day. Once I had this done I adhered this piece to a Basic White Cardstock base using Multipurpose Glue. For the sentiment, I used the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad & then die-cut it using the Something Fancy Dies, this was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals before placing on the card. I added a few Flat Pearls to finish my card.
