Basket Full Of Apples With Sweetest Cherries

Hello stampers,

I wanted to play around with the Sweetest Cherries stamp set because it hasn't seen as much love as I thought it would. I came across a few cards that Connie Stewart made with this set last year where she went outside of the box & came up with oranges & apples, just like the Sweet Citrus set. I used to love thinking outside of the box, but my mind doesn't want to play that way anymore. UGH!

I started this card with a few scraps of Basic White Cardstock that I stamped the "apples" with Lemon Lime Twist Ink, the stems & basket with Crumb Cake Ink & the leaves with Old Olive Ink, then fussy cut everything out with Paper Snips rather than the punch. Next, I took a layer of Basic White Cardstock, figured out where I would put the basket then stamped a few sentiments onto the layer using Lemon Lime Twist Ink, then used Multipurpose Glue to attach to the layer. Once I was done with this layer I added it to a layer of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock & Crumb Cake Cardstock base. Lastly, I added a few Tinsel Gems to finish the card.
