Hello stampers,
It's the 1st Monday of the month & that brings another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who share different ideas made with the featured stamp set. This week that stamp set is Beary Cute.
This card went through many changes while making it & I finally settled on this one. I started with a layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock where I stamped the tree with Mossy Meadow Ink; the bears with Memento Black Ink & Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Pack; star (aka snowflake) Crushed Curry Ink & finally the sentiment with Old Olive Ink. I thought we had a scallop die border but couldn't find it so I brought out a very retired Scalloped Border Punch to punch the bottom end of an Old Olive Cardstock layer. Both of these layers were added to a Mossy Meadow Cardstock base. I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel that I had colored with the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. I also added a few retired Snowflake Sequins because I just didn't like the little dot stamp in the set for snow. I really like this set because depending on if you color the bear brown or leave it white you can use the Beary Christmas or A Walk In The Forest DSP & get 2 totally different looks from this set.
