Furriest Friends

Hello stampers,

OMG! It's been a rough & busy weekend. But my new saying is "Don't put off tomorrow what you should finish tonight even though you are tired, because you could be without electricity in the morning" UGH! So we are now on week 2 of sharing a generator with most of our block & our generator stopped working overnight, but at least the electric company got it working again. Now, to see how long it will take them to get a permit from our city so they can fix the problem & get 51 homes off the generators. I'm not holding out hope that it will be before the new year!

Anyway, I decided to take a break from Christmas cards, nope I haven't finished them because I was hardly home this weekend. Instead, I'm going to share a card made with a new Online Exclusive bundle called Fluffiest Friends & I made it for a color challenge from the Paper Craft Crew #547.  I started my card with a Poppy Parade Cardstock base & layer. I used the Basic White Cardstock & stamped the bear using Pecan Pie Ink, then colored him in using Pecan Pie & Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, and then used a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker to color the honey. Along with the bear I used Pecan Pie, Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade & Old Olive Cardstocks to die-cut the limb, leaves, hive & & what I'll call the half hive (positive & negative). The yellow half hive was then embossed using one of the Basic Embossing Folders. I stamped a few bees onto the Poppy Parade layer using Memento Black Ink. Once I had everything done, I started assembling of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals on the Poppy Parade layer & the hive. Lastly, I used the upcoming Bee My Valentine Stamp Set for the sentiment stamping with Pecan Pie Ink onto Basic White Cardstock then used the Banners Pick a Punch on each end.
