Adoring Heart Hybrid Shaker Card

Hello stampers,

So I recently had a friend challenge me to make a shaker card, she's aware they aren't my favorite type of card to make. My style is to look & admire rather than do! So I did make a card but I'm not 100% in love with the final outcome, besides the upper & lower hearts not lining up I also think it's a little too plain even for me, but I can say I've finished the challenge. I hope you try something outside of your comfort zone at least once.

I started with a Real Red Cardstock square that I die-cut using the Adoring Hearts Hybrid, backed it with a piece of Window Sheets, and then added some Foam Adhesive Strips to all 4 sides so that the shaker parts wouldn't fall out. I added some retired Subtle Shimmer Sequins & a few small hearts from the retired Hearts Confetti Border Punch & then closed it up with a piece of Basic White Cardstock. Then it was time for me to figure out what I was going to do to make it into a card. I chose to use a sentiment from the Perennial Postage Stamp Set using Real Red Ink on Basic White Cardstock and then used the Paper Snips to fussy cut the sentiment out. I also die-cut the small hearts using Real Red Cardstock with the border part of the Adoring Hearts Hybrid & adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I tried to use the border die as a guideline of how to space the hearts but I didn't do a very good job at it when it came to the bottom row.
