Hello stampers,
Today I'm doing a card that uses the cut, flip, & add a strip idea that I believe Kylie Bertucci started a while ago to help us use our DSP.
How fun is the Bee Mine DSP with all the happy bees & bright colors? I started with a layer of this DSP & a layer of Basic White Cardstock. I cut the DSP right around the 2" mark, flipped it, adhered both pieces to the cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue & then added a strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock that I embossed using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. This layer was then added to a Daffodil Delight Cardstock base. For the sentiment, I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to color the sentiment from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set omitting the "bee" part, die-cut it using the Perennial Postage Dies & then added a few hearts from the set using Sweet Sorbet Ink. I used a smaller bee from a scrap of the Bee Mine DSP to cut out a smaller bee to replace the word bee in the sentiment, then popped up the sentiment using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Paper Measurements-
- Daffodil Delight Cardstock:
- Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2

- Sentiment - 2 1/2 x 1 1/4
- Bee Mine DSP:
