Hello stampers,
I played around with Pretty In Pink for today's card. If you've been around Stampin' Up! for many years you may remember that this used to be in the Subtle family, well it is back as an In Color. If you still have the cardstock, then it looks identical to my eyes. However, the ink doesn't match the old color it's like a shade or 2 darker at least to me. That being said it is still a great color for a baby girl!
I started with a Basic White Cardstock layer, which I die-cut using the Countryside Corner Dies before stamping the floral image from the Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink. I colored the image using Pretty In Pink & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. For the background layer, I used Pretty In Pink Cardstock that I embossed using the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder which I then added to a Basic White Cardstock base, then added the focal image on top of those 2 layers. For the sentiment, I used the Something Fancy Stamp Set with Pretty In Pink Ink then die-cut using the Stylish Shape Dies. I used a 1/4" strip of Pretty In Pink Cardstock to make a smaller banner behind the sentiment then used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop the sentiment up. Lastly, I used a few of the Sequins Trio (white) to finish the card.
