Fragrant Forest & Merriest Trees

Hello stampers,

From fall to Christmas in a day, lol! I saw this card challenge on Freshly Made Sketches & thought it would work well with a background stamp & I just built upon that.

I started with a layer of Basic White Cardstock, then inked up the Fragrance Forest Stamp using Granny Apple Green, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow Inks before stamping it on the cardstock. I then cut the stamped image at 1 1/2 & 1 3/4, & placed them evenly on a Pecan Pie Cardstock layer before adding them to an Old Olive Cardstock base. For the tag, I used Old Olive Cardstock, die-cut it using the Merriest Tree Dies, then embossed it with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. Next, I die-cut a tree shape from the same die using Basic White Cardstock, stamped a sentiment from the Merriest Trees Stamp Set using Pecan Pie Ink & then used a dauber to apply some Old Olive Ink to the edges of the tree. I added a bow using a retired Old Olive ribbon bundle & attached a few Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Dots to finish the card.

  1. I love all of these gorgeous trees and I love how you've stamped them in three different shades of green to work with the sketch. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
