Hello stampers,
It's been a bit of a rough & hectic few weeks that I haven't even attempted to do any type of stamping. How bad is that? EEK! I have managed to clean some of my craft room & add 1 out of 2 pieces of an island desk, still trying to work on the 2nd & how it will fit where I want them to go. I did measure but just 1 part seems bigger than I had anticipated! On top of that my PC has been extremely slow, the last week or so & I think I have figured out the culprit I just need to find a bit of time to work on that part. But for now as I'm writing this post it seems to be doing a tad better.
I thought I'd start on Christmas ideas for today's card using the Humble Home Bundle. I stamped the house from the set using Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock then colored it in using Crumb Cake, Real Red, Daffodil Delight & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, before punching it out with the Humble Home Builder Punch. I used Stylish Shape Dies to die-cut a circle, then embossed it using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder & used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of Craft White Ink to the embossed parts. I also used one of the banner dies from Stylish Shapes to die-cut the sentiment from the Peaceful Season Stamp Set. For the background, I used 3 different sheets of Take A Bow DSP that I had attached to a piece of Basic White Cardstock, before adding this to a Crumb Cake Cardstock base. I added the focal point & sentiment to make it look a little like a snow globe which was then attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish the card, I added a few Crumb Cake Earth Tone Shimmer Gems.
