Hello stampers,
Another late post because my PC started acting up again, I hope to figure out why it is really is acting sluggish 1 minute & fine the next, I thought I found the problem but last night proved me wrong. Today's card was made using a card sketch from Jackie Bolhuis.
I started with a Basic White Cardstock base, then used 2 different papers from the Take A Bow DSP as a background layer. Next, I used the Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set to stamp the trees using Granny Apple Green Cardstock with Garden Green Ink, before die-cutting them with the Peaceful Evergreen Dies. I used the Peaceful Season Stamp Set for the sentiment, stamping with Garden Green Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, then punching the ends with the retired Banners Pick A Punch. To assemble, I glued the 2 smaller trees directly to the card base, popped up the biggest tree using Stampin' Dimensionals before gluing the sentiment to the biggest tree. I finished the card by adding a few Iridescent Discs.
Paper Measurements-- Basic White Cardstock:
- Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
- Sentiment - 2 3/4 x 1/2
- Granny Apple Green Cardstock:
- Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
- Take A Bow DSP:
- Layer - (2) 1 x 5 1/4
- Layer - 1 3/4 x5 1/4
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
