Hello stampers,
Sorry I've been MIA for a bit, I didn't realize it was just shy of 3 weeks. Between being sick & doctor appointments I haven't spent much time in the stamp room except to finish Christmas cards. Today I wanted to share a newer Online Exclusive stamp set called Umbrella Days. The sentiment hit me in the right spot when I was figuring out what I wanted to make, because I'm waiting for my sun to shine once again.
I started with a layer of Basic White Cardstock that I die cut using the Perennial Postage Dies. I stamped the rain using Balmy Blue Ink (stamped off once) & added a sentiment from the Umbrella Days Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink. Next, I used another scrap of Basic White Cardstock to stamp from the same set the adult & dog using Memento Black Ink again, then coloring in using Shy Shamrock, Petunia Pop, Boho Blue & Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Packs before die-cutting them out using the Umbrella Days Dies, along with 2 puddles using Balmy Blue Cardstock. I adhered everything to the sentiment layer then added Shy Shamrock & Petunia Pop Cardstock layers behind the focal point before adding to a Boho Blue Cardstock base. I would never had thought to use these colors together, but My Create Ink helped me decide.
