Hello Stampers,
It's been a brisk few days weatherwise, but I wanted 1 last tribute to some beautiful bright colors before fully immersing myself into more rich regals. I'm not sure what led to this hoorah except I was looking for a color that I haven't used a lot of which led me to Shy Shamrock & then that led to the Full of Life DSP, so voila!
This card was inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketches #708. I started with stamping the birthday cake from the Along These Lines Stamp Set with the Shy Shamrock Ink Pad onto Basic White Cardstock, then punching it out with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. I used a retired 2 1/2" Circle Punch to add a Daffodil Delight Cardstock layer behind the stamped image. For the sentiment, I used the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set also with the Shy Shamrock Ink Pad & Basic White Cardstock that I cut an angled end off. For the base of the card, I used Shy Shamrock Cardstock with a layer of Berry Burst Cardstock & Full of Life DSP. Lastly, I used the 24-26 Shimmer Gems to finish the card.
