Monochromatic InstaHop - Basic Gray

Hello Stampers,

Today I'm participating in Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic InstaHop for Basic Gray on Instagram. I went for a weathered & worn look for the card & used 2 of my hubby's favorite colors. I hope he likes his birthday card.

I started the card with a Basic Gray Cardstock base that was stamped with the texture stamp from Nature's Symphony Stamp Set using Basic Gray Ink (stamping off once.) Next, for the main image, I stamped it with the same image from the base, adding the big bush from the set on top. For the more weathered & worn look, I went around the edges with scissors to rough them up then decided to crumble the cardstock until I was satisfied with the look & attached it to a Basic Black Cardstock layer, before adding it to the base. For the sentiment, I used the same set to & texture stamp, fussy cut the banner end & added it to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Neutral Matte Dots (Basic Black) to finish the card.
