Frosted Pinecones - Season's Greetings

Hello Stampers,
Today’s Christmas card is for the Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop. One of the things I love about this hop is that there’s no specific theme, so we can share whatever we’re currently creating & right now that's Christmas.

I started by using the Frosted Pinecones Dies to cut the pinecones and pine needles from Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, & Mossy Meadow Cardstocks. After playing around with the arrangement for a bit and getting everything where I wanted it, I adhered the pieces to a Basic Beige Cardstock layer that I had embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder. I really love the subtle texture it adds without taking attention away from the die cuts.

Next, I layered the embossed panel onto a piece of Real Red Cardstock and then attached it to a Basic Beige Cardstock card base. The combination of the warm neutrals with the pop of red gives it a cozy Christmas feel.

For the sentiment, I used the Noel Tidings Bundle and stamped it onto Basic Beige Cardstock with Real Red Ink. I then die-cut it with the coordinating dies and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals to give it a little extra depth and dimension.

To finish the card, I added a few retired Delightful Decorative Dots (Real Red.) I thought they tied the whole card together nicely.
