Merry Mischief - Holly Jolly Greetings

Hello Stampers,

At last, the weather is cooling down, and it feels so wonderful to open the windows and let the fresh air in. Instead of spotlighting a particular product, I’ll be embracing the Christmas spirit and working on ideas for cards I will make in multiples. I love gnomes, so of course I couldn’t resist ordering this adorable set—LOL! With so many little pieces and lots of time needed to put everything together, this probably won’t be a card I can make multiples of, but it will certainly be a special one. I also believe this is the most products I used on any card I've ever made. YIKES!

I started this card with stamping one of the gnomes from the Merry Mischief Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Ink, then coloring it with Peaceful Pine, Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Medium Light & Light Stampin' Blends, before die-cutting it with the Merry Mischief Dies. I recently saw someong adding some cotton to their card, so I grabbed a q-tip & with some glue added cotton to the bottom of the suit & for the pom pom. For the mushroom, I used Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Golden Glow Cardstocks. I embossed the mushroom cap with the Seasonal Cheer Embossing Folder (candy canes), then used a Sponge Dauber to apply Cherry Cobbler Ink around the edges. I also used a Blending Brush to add extra color to the door and lights with Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler Inks. I also added Wink Of Stella to the lights & ornaments on the beard. I fussy cut a snow bank using Basic White Cardstock, then used a sentiment from the Festive Cheer Stamp Set, stamping it with Cherry Cobbler Ink. I chose Basic White Cardstock for the base, then added a layer of A Stitched Season DSP, before starting to assemble the card, everything was glued except for the gnome where I used Stampin' Dimensionals.
