Need for Speed

Hello stampers,
I have finally made it back from the black hole of no computer land, after my desktop decided it didn't want to work correctly anymore. So I've become a laptop girl, still trying to get used to it, I miss my old stuff, but I especially miss my start button on XP! Yes, I was still using XP, I didn't see any use of updating, I'm stubborn & I don't like change. Now I'm running 8 & I'm definitely not liking all the bells & whistles the sales person said I would like, but he said I could always use the desktop version that sold me. However, it truly isn't the desktop I was used to especially when I couldn't find the start button that I was so used to, to be able to shut down my computer when I was done with it for the day. Alas, this old girl is going to have to learn new tricks to keep up with the electronic world.
Before moving on I must promote VC Rocks, our virtual convention for those who aren't lucky enough to be able to attend convention & for the loyal followers is now open for new members until May 31st. If you would like to join us for the summer head on over to our group VC Rocks on yahoo groups by clicking HERE.(you'll have to sign in 1st before yahoo will let you continue on to the group to sign up.) I will forewarn you that we are a VERY active group so LOTS of emails can be passed around in 1 day. But there is fun to be had & swaps galore!
Today I have a card to show you from my friend Maria's monthly class, it uses the Need for Speed set which will be retiring in June. I have had my eye on this set as a nice masculine set, of which, I don't have many of. However, it has eluded my list so it mustn't have been for me. And thus the reason why I promoted the last paragraph, VC Rocks is having a non-traditional blog hop this week, we are using inlinkz this year so head on over to the blog to see more creativity, click HERE.

~Enjoy
