Happy Frenzy Friday! Well, I didn't make it past a week without having a fall type card, but I'm going for a Thanksgiving theme here, which I didn't get too many of those done. But truly you can make any fall card into a Thanksgiving card by changing the words you use, it is a bit harder to make Halloween out of a fall card in my mind.
I used the Truly Grateful stamp set again this week. I had another idea, but I don't think my mind was quite ready to do Christmas as my idea didn't pan out. I stamped the acorn on Very Vanilla in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry & Old Olive. I backed the Very Vanilla up with Early Espresso, which I think makes the stamped parts shine a bit more. I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch with Old Olive to make the bottom border. Finally, I backed all this with Crushed Curry & stamped the word in Cajun Craze. I did turn the sketch to a vertical card after realizing that I didn't calculate my measurements correctly. Oh well, no one will know except you that this was supposed to be a horizontal card. SHHHH!!
This week, had me a bit nervous as I am the one who made this sketch. First sketch I've ever made, so I hope it gets your creative juices flowing. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge.
~Enjoy
