SFF110714 White Christmas

Hello stampers,
Welcome back to another week of Sketch Frenzy Friday! I've been tinkering around the house this week to make sure that my house is as ready for winter as it can be. Looks like we'll be seeing a few days of 30-40 degrees next week. BRRRR! This Southern Cali girl still isn't used to weather this cold, love the beauty of it & all but I just don't like being down-right COLD!
Continuing the theme of Christmas, I decided to use the White Christmas Stamp Set on this week's sketch.
Whisper White Card Stock was used for the base of the card. The squares are using Whisper White, Pool Party & Island Indigo Card Stock. I embossed the Pool Party piece with the Lucky Stars TIEF & added a bow using the Silver Taffeta Ribbon. I stamped the trees from the stamp set with Island Indigo Ink, colored in the trees with a Pool Party Marvelous Marker & then stamped the Merry Christmas banner with Pool Party Ink. For the snowy drifts I outlined the ink with the Dazzling Details, to add some sparkle. Oh I almost forgot, I added the star from the set in Hello Honey Ink & colored it in with So Saffron Marvelous Marker.

This week's sketch was created by Kim Innis. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge. Happy sketching & enjoy your weekend!
