Flower Shop Vellum

Hello stampers,
Happy Tuesday y'all! Hard to believe there are only a few days left of April & our temps are still in the 30s to low 40s, but the weatherman says that the low will be moving on today so that our temps should be getting back to the 50s & 60s, YAY! We may just miss spring here in Upstate New York!
Today I have a card that was one of my favorites from Kerri's class last week. Whisper White Card Stock was used for the whole card, except for the flowers from the Flower Shop Stamp Set that used Vellum. We started with the flower bush from the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp Set, stamping 3 times on the Whisper White layer using VersaMark then pouring White Embossing Powder & heating. Next we took a dauber, inked it up with Wisteria Wonder Ink & proceeded to sponge around the bushes into a curve. We then used the greeting from Sincere Salutations Stamp Set in Wisteria Wonder Ink on the 1/2 moon side. For the last part, the flowers from the Flower Shop Stamp Set were embossed onto Vellum using VersaMark & White Embossing Powder then punched out using the Pansy Punch.

~Enjoy
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

    1. Deli, it is really quite simple. Heat emboss in white embossing powder on white paper then you can either use a sponge or dauber to create the effect you are looking for. It is a great technique, hope you have fun creating with it.
