SFF052215

Hello stampers,
Happy Frenzy Friday! I hope everybody's day goes superb! I've been slowly knocking things off my "to-do" list, albeit the very easy & less time consuming ones first in hopes that I will gain some energy to do the tougher things on the list, but it hasn't worked yet.
I think I'm going about these sketches all wrong, somehow I have the hardest time coming up with ideas for the easy sketches but almost immediately know what I'm going to do for the harder looking ones. It can be so frustrating.
After finishing today's card & submitting it, I'm thinking it is missing something, maybe I should have done some dry embossing on the background, but I digress. For the base, I used Crushed Curry Card Stock. For the banners, I used Real Red & Pacific Point DSP with the new Banner Triple Punch. For the stamped piece I used Whisper White Card Stock then punched an end using the Angled Topper Punch to make a tag. Next, I stamped one of the bird stamps from the retiring set For The Birds with the Memento Black Ink, coloring in each of the birds with Crushed Curry, Real Red & Pacific Point Marvelous Markers. As the final touch I added a knotted bow using Real Red 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon.
This week's sketch was created by Diana Eichfeld. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge. Happy sketching & enjoy your weekend!
