BSU113016

Hello stampers,
I forgot to do the actual post, I downloaded my pic last night to do it & just realized I never actually started. On top of all that, I can't believe today is the last day of November, I'm still trying to finish Christmas cards to mail out, figure out what gifts I need to buy & finish decorating. I'm so not ready for tomorrow to be December, but whether I'm ready or not it's coming.
This weeks challenge for BSU was to do something ABC or 3D. I was quite surprised that I had mine done before today, but I had every intention of making several of these for a craft fair being done this weekend by our rescue. I thought these would be cute, but to me, these weren't as easy as everyone said they were or maybe it was just crafter error. Anyway, I got the template from Brenda Quintana's blog. I realized that I bought the wrong candy for the trunk so I had to adjust it just a bit. I was going to do the version with the star but realized I didn't have the punch she used when I thought I had it. so ended up doing her first version of it by adding ribbon around the tree. I used Garden Green Card Stock for the tree, Early Espresso Card Stock for the trunk & Real Red Cotton Ribbon to make the tree. I think if I was to make this again, I would do the revised version of it, you can see it on the video Brenda share. Who knows I may still try to do more by Sunday or at least Saturday if I have to drop them off to the coordinator.
I hope you all are farther along in your holiday decorations, cards, etc. than I am. It can be stressful being a procrastinator at times.
Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
