Tis The Season

Hello stampers,
I have another Christmas card for you today, hopefully, you're not getting sick of those yet, still trying to come up with ideas to get my cards done & mailed in plenty of time instead of the week before.
I've been trying to figure out more ideas for the Winter Woods Stamp Set. I loved it in the catalog, so giving it a try. I started with a Crumb Cake Card Stock base. For the tree trunks, I started with the placement of the stamp on a strip of Very Vanilla Card Stock using the Stamparatus, after figuring it out I inked up the stamp using Crumb Cake Ink & after each contact, I moved the plate down one notch then repeated the process until I went across the paper. For the sentiment, I used the retired Merry Patterns Stamp Set stamping the outline using Garden Green Ink & the inside I stamped off once before lining it up inside the word season. Lastly, I inked up the single tree in the set with Garden Green Ink & stamped it onto Very Vanilla Card Stock, then used the Big Shot & the In The Woods Framelits to cut it out & adhering it in place.
Card Measurements
  • Crumb Cake base 5.5"x8.5"
  • Garden Green layer- 3"x5"
  • Very Vanilla layer- 2.75"x4.75"
