BSU101018

Hello stampers,
It's BSU Wednesday & this week's challenge is all about the color combo of Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red & Crumb Cake. Now, I'm not going to lie but I don't really think 2 of these colors belong in Regals, I'm a Brights kind of gal. The Crushed Curry really through me trying to figure out what to do for my card, but I did come up with something at least.
I started with the stamping first to see if what I was thinking in my head would actually turn out. I decided to go with the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set. First, I stamped both of the tree trunks using Crumb Cake Ink, then in the order used I stamped the leaves using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie & Real Red Ink altering the direction of the leaves with each color so they weren't right on top of each other. I did the same thing with the piles of leaves on each side. I finished the card off with a sentiment from the set stamped in Real Red Ink.

Card Measurements
  • Crumb Cake base- 5.5"x8.5"
  • Whisper White layer-4.25"x5.25"

Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
