BSU101718

Hello stampers,
This week's BSU challenge was a doozy for me, we did a technique called Double Embossing with Framelits. After many attempts, I went with this final result. What you can't see really well since I used dark cardstock is that you have the embossing done with the framelit & Versamark which then turns into wet embossing. Hopefully, that makes sense! Unfortunately, this technique won't be on my radar again any time soon, lol!
For today's card, I started with a Night Of Navy Cardstock base where I had stamped the sentiment from the new set coming out in November called Snow Is Glistening using Versamark Ink then wet embossed it using Silver EP. Next, I used the big bauble from the Detailed Baubles Thinlits in the Big Shot with a Night Of Navy Cardstock square to start the technique above then used Silver EP to finish the look. This was then layered onto a piece of Silver Foil. Whew, now I can move on to bigger & better things!
Card Measurements

  • Night Of Navy base- 5.5"x8.5"
  • Silver Foil- 3.25"x 3.25"
  • Night Of Navy layer-3"x 3"
  •      Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
