Birthday Blooms

Hello stampers,
Today's card is one that I made for my mom's birthday last week & couldn't post it until now. It does use a few retired items, but this stamp is great to use for blends, which I'm always working to perfect.
I started with a Calypso Coral Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Subtles DSP (this design was in last years pack). Next, I stamped the flowers & the sentiment from the retired Birthday Blooms Stamp Set onto Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. I used the Light & Dark Calypso Coral Stamping Blends on the flowers, Light Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends on the rose leaves & Light Old Olive Stampin Blends on the other type of leaves, this was then layered on to Old Olive Cardstock before adhering to the card. To finish off the card, I used some of the retired Brights Candy Dots.
Card Measurements

  • Calypso Coral base- 5.5"x 8.5"
  • DSP- 4"x 5.25"
  • Old Olive layer- 3.25"x 3.5"
  • Whisper White layer- 3"x 3.25"
