Last week, I spoke with a stamping friend, we talked about our spending sprees but lack of usage. I know I have several stamps that haven't seen ink since I got them, so I'm going to try to get all of my current sets used at least once, but hopefully a few times. I also hope to start posting more, I know I keep saying this but hopefully if my friend & I can motivate each other it will come true.
Today's card, uses 2 sets I haven't used yet. I bought the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set because it reminded me of the cherry blossoms in Japan. For the card, I started with a Whisper White Cardstock base followed by the incoming 2021-22 Subtles DSP & the SAB Oh So Ombre DSP. For the stamped piece, I stamped the flowers from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink & coloring them using retired Lt. & Dk Pink Pirouette along with Lt. & Dk. Granny Apple Green Blends. I had a hard time finding something for the sentiment, I finally used the retired Painted Label Dies with Granny Apple Green Cardstock stamping it with the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink. Once I got things assembled I realized that the sentiment die looked like a pot, so I went with it.
Do you have sets you haven't used? Get them out, use them, look online for ideas or even CASE, but the important thing is to use them.~Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
