Is summer over yet? These triple digits even though its dry heat is for the birds!😓I really need to find a place that has mild summers & not too cold winters.
Today's card is for a color challenge from the Paper Players PP599 that uses Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party & White. I chose to use the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set for this challenge. I started with Parakeet Party Cardstock that had been stamped with Memento Black Ink then die cut using the Splendid Stem Dies. Then I die cut the 1/2 moon using the same dies with Tahitian Tide Cardstock and then embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. These 2 pieces were then attached to a piece of Basic White Cardstock. For the background layer, I used the 2022-2024 In Color DSP of the 2 mentioned colors & cut them down together then at an angle before attaching them to a Basic White Cardstock base. After I attached everything I stamped a sentiment from the set, fussy cut it out & then attached it to the card using Mini Dimensionals.
