It's been a difficult week since I last posted. It started with my shoulder being hurt, then our electricity went out for 31 hours, then I had to help one of my cats crossover to the rainbow bridge, while another cat thought it would be great to bite me without notice which ended up me going to Urgent Care twice over the weekend. And then, of course, my PC was giving me problems last night so had to wait to post this until today. UGH! I hope y'all have had a better week than I have.
Fall was my favorite time when I lived in NY, not only because of all the color changes but it was when apples came into season at the corner farm/nursery. This card was made using the Apple Harvest Stamp Set from the Jul-Dec catalog (For the month of September, you'll be able to order matching dies for this set along with a few others YAY!) I used the tree stamp from the set stamping it on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. I then colored the image using Real Red, Granny Apple Green & Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, before sticking it to a layer of Gingham Cottage DSP at an angle. I used a sentiment from the same set & added it to the DSP using Memento Black Ink. This was then all attached to a Basic White Cardstock base, before adding a few Classic Matte Dots to finish the card.
