I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty good & I even got a few cards made. YAY! So some of you may know this but I'm a cat person who has been involved with rescue & currently have a few kittens that I hope to get adopted soon. Anyway, I look for cat/dog sets a lot during Christmas time to send to my rescue friends. I went back & forth on whether to get the set in the current mini, but I did the only thing I could've wished for is a few more non-Christmas sayings.
For today's card, I chose to use the North Pole Mischief Stamp Set but I masked off the mistletoe & used an old retired set You Little Furball for the sentiment. I started by using Basic White Cardstock then with the Basic Black Stampin Write Marker I went over the image making sure to not color over the mistletoe but around it in order for it to not show on the image. I colored the image using Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede & retired Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Combo Packs before backing it with a layer of Smoky Slate Cardstock. I then chose a pattern from the Design A Daydream DSP & attached it to a Smoky Slate Cardstock base, before attaching the stamped image piece. For the sentiment, I used the retired You Little Furball Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock then popped it up using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
