Celebrate Sunflowers Thinking Of You

Hello stampers,
Today I decided to participate in a sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches #FMS555. I'm getting a lot of use out of the Celebrated Sunflowers Stamp Set after dusting it off this week. Sometimes you just got to go back to those sets that you just don't use that often & give them another chance.
I thought the sunflower would be a good interpretation of the circle in the sketch, I started by using Crushed Curry Ink pouncing it on the stamp then came back with a sponge dauber & pounced the middle with Soft Suede Ink before stamping it onto Basic White Cardstock. I then used the Sunflower Dies to die cut the flower out & also used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out a rectangle using Crushed Curry Cardstock. **Sometimes if you have small enough dies you can load up & die cut everything at once.** For the layer, I used Soft Suede Cardstock that was embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, then attached to a Crushed Curry Cardstock base. I used the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment on my rectangle using Soft Suede Ink. I then attached the sunflower & the rectangle to the card using Stampin' Up! Dimensionals.
Here is the sketch that inspired this card. Try to make a card for yourself using the sketch.

~Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
