I'm a bit late with my post for today but still wanted to share what I had worked on. I've been looking at the Peekaboo Farm set since it came out in last year's catalog & finally decided to get it. I just think it's too cute.
I started with a small layer of Basic White Cardstock that I stamped the brick wall & horse from the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set using Basic Gray Ink. I colored the wall using Gray Granite, Smoky Slate & Basic Black Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. For the horse, I used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Ivory & the Deep Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. After coloring, I used a Blender Brush to add some Balmy Blue Ink for the sky. I then used the Wave Dies with a scrap of Basic White Cardstock to cut out 2 clouds. The stamped piece was then added to a layer of Basic Gray Cardstock. For the background, I embossed a layer of Smoky Slate Cardstock with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder then used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of Basic Gray Ink to some of the bricks, this was then attached to a Smoky Slate Cardstock base. After assembling the card, I used one of the sentiments in the set to stamp on a Basic White Cardstock scrap using Basic Gray Ink then punched it out using the retired 1-1/8" Scallop Circle Punch adding Mini Dimensionals before attaching to the card.
