December Share It Sunday Blog Hop


Hello stampers,
     Merry Christmas everyone! I have 1 more Christmas card for the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop today.
     I'm sharing a card that uses the Perched In A Tree Bundle. This set will be carried over! I had to find a picture of a robin to figure out the coloring, LOL! I started with a Basic White Cardstock scrap & stamped the bird & the branch from the set using Soft Suede Ink. For the bird, I used Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, & Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. I also used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Combo Pack for the branch. Next, I die cut the bird, branch & background trees using the Aspen Dies. I used my Blending Brushes to add Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya, Flirty Flamingo & Balmy Blue to a layer of Basic White Cardstock, then adhered the oval piece to this layer using Multipurpose Glue before adhering to a Pale Papaya Cardstock base. I used a small piece of Pale Papaya Cardstock & stamped it with a sentiment from the set using Soft Suede Ink then finished assembling the card.

  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer – 4 1/4 x 5-(2)
    • Image – scraps for bird & branch
  • Pale Papaya Cardstock:
    • Card Base – 4.25 x 5 1/2
    • Layer – 1 1/4 x 4
