Today I have a fun sneak peek of a set that will be in the new Jan-Apr catalog. It's called Taco Fiesta by Erica Cerwin Million Sales Achiever. It reminds me of a Paper Pumpkin set that we had that I thought was a little cheesy but after working with it, it grew on me, so I thought this set was cute as well.
I started the card with a piece of Basic White Cardstock, where I stamped the pinata using Memento Black Ink, coloring it in using Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet & Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. Next, I wanted a fringe look at the bottom but that thought didn't come until after I had cut it down to size, so I took the left over portion and colored it with Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet & Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Combo Packs & cut them using retired Fringe Scissors (I believe that was the name of them.) I layered this piece with Polished Pink Cardstock making sure it ended where the stamped image did. I added the sentiment from the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set using Polished Pink Ink. For the background layer, I made my own by using the candy stamp in the set with Memento Black Ink and then colored them in using the same colors as the pinata, this was then attached to a Polished Pink Cardstock base.
