Today's card came from a shirt a friend made me since she knows I love gnomes. The shirt says HappyThanksmas & features a gnome for Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas, so I thought I'd make a card from that idea.
The shirt was a purple color, so I chose Gorgeous Grape Cardstock as the base. Next, I used Basic White Cardstock to make the background for the gnomes using a spider web (retired), Leaf Fall & Wintry 3D Embossing Folders. For the Halloween gnome, I used an old black & white DSP for the hat that I colored with Gorgeous Grape Ink using a Blending Brush; Gorgeous Grape Cardstock for his feet; Smoky Slate Cardstock for his beard; & Halloween bag from the retired Spooky Bingo Bits. For the Thanksgiving gnome, I used a retired DSP for his hat; Gray Granite Cardstock for his beard; Pumpkin Pie Cardstock for his shoes & Cajun Craze Cardstock with the Aspen Dies for the leaf. For the Christmas gnome, I used Storybook Gnomes DSP for his hat; Basic White Cardstock for his beard; Pacific Point Cardstock for his shoes; & stamped/diecut the snowflake from the Christmas Lights Bundle using Pacific Point Ink.
It was fun to just dabble to see what I could come up with using both current & retired supplies on hand.
