My Stamp Vault: Sending Smiles and Design A Daydream

Hello stampers,

I have been trying to work on using more of my DSP, since I've got quite the collection going. So I've been searching for one sheet wonder templates, along with other ways to use it up instead of it just taking up space. I've also started making cards for my mom to use, that's a work in progress.

For today's card, I chose to use Design A Daydream DSP. With these cards, I started with the cut, flip & add a strip method than used the leftover on the other card.

For this card, I started with a Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base, followed by a layer of DSP which I cut it down to size then flipped over the bottom piece & added a strip of Old Olive Cardstock. I used the Stitched Shape Dies to cut out a square from Basic White Cardstock then stamped it using a flower from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set with Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink & Old Olive Ink Pads. The sentiment is from the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set which was stamped with Old Olive Ink, this was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals before adding to the card.

For the 2nd card, I used Petal Pink Cardstock for the base, then added a strip of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock to the Design A Daydream DSP before attaching it to the base. I stamped the flowers & stem using Petal Pink, Blackberry Bliss & Old Olive Ink Pads onto Basic White Cardstock, then die cut them out along with the Sending part that used Blackberry Bliss & Basic White Cardstock using the Sending Dies. I stamped the "Birthday Wishes" using Blackberry Bliss Ink on Basic White Cardstock then punched it out with the retired Classic Label Punch. The sentiment & the flowers were popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals, while the stem was adhered using Multipurpose Glue.

- Base – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
- Strip- 1/2 x 5 1/2
- Scrap- 1 1/2 x 4
Petal Pink Cardstock:
- Base – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Basic White Cardstock:
- Scrap- 3 x 3
- Scrap- 2 x 4
Old Olive Cardstock:
- Strip – 1/2 x 4
Design A Daydream DSP:
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Layer- 2 x 5 1/2
